“Moonshine Story”, “we”, “our” refers to the personalized children's book service operated at moonshinestory.com by Moonshine Studios Limited, a Hong Kong–registered company (Business Registration No. 80346799) with registered office at 12/F, Honest Building, 9-11 Leighton Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. “You” refers to the person who creates an account and uses the service.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Moonshine Story is intended for parents, guardians, educators, and other adults creating books for children in their care. Children may enjoy the books you create, but they are not users of the service themselves.
By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for any activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately at support@moonshinestory.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
One person per account. You may not transfer or share your account with others.
Moonshine Story uses a token-based pricing model. Each story generation and each illustration costs a specific number of tokens. Pricing is shown in the product at the time you purchase tokens or start a subscription.

We reserve the right to review generated content for policy violations and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Content you create. You own the personal details, photos, and story directions you provide to Moonshine Story. By uploading them, you grant us a limited license to store, process, display, and use them for the sole purpose of delivering the service to you (for example, generating and storing your book).
Generated books. The books you create using Moonshine Story are yours for personal, non-commercial family use. You may print them, share them with family and friends, and read them to the children in your care. You may not sell generated books or use them in a commercial product without our written permission.
Our platform. All software, illustration styles, templates, prompts, and branding that make Moonshine Story work are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Moonshine Story uses AI to generate stories and illustrations. AI output can occasionally be unexpected, inaccurate, or include features you didn't intend. We ask you to review each book before sharing it with your child, especially if the story deals with a sensitive topic. If you encounter content that feels inappropriate or wrong, please let us know so we can improve our safety filters.
We try to keep Moonshine Story available at all times, but we can't guarantee zero downtime. We may need to perform maintenance, respond to incidents, or update the platform, which can cause temporary outages. We are not liable for any loss caused by temporary service unavailability.
By you. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. On deletion, your personal information is removed within 30 days (see the Privacy Policy).
By us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay for tokens, or if we are required to do so by law. Where possible, we will give you notice and a chance to correct the problem.
Moonshine Story is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every generated book will meet your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Moonshine Story is a storytelling tool. It is not a substitute for professional educational, psychological, or medical advice. If you have concerns about your child's development or wellbeing, please consult a qualified professional.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moonshine Story and its founders are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability in connection with these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or your use of Moonshine Story will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR.
